Task 3: The Importance of communication skills for engineers

According to Debra Kroft, the quote explains that the importance of effective communication is crucial especially for global engineers. Working with various groups of people would not only require good communication skills but for others to be able to understand the goals and ideas of the said work or project, it has to be a form of effective communication as to create a mutual understanding among all respected parties. Effective communication entails to further strengthen the ties within respected parties even though facing issues such as language barriers or the work culture difference. Good communication skills will only allow us to be able to deliver the message across the different parties but effective communication will enable both parties to have a mutual understanding of the message being delivered and is able to work as per the instructions correctly towards the desired goal.

Being able to communicate our thoughts and ideas precisely eliminates any misunderstandings, errors and faults that is usually a problem when working in groups.
